The bar moves overnight: three beat-and-raise prints get sold after hours.

Wednesday's five-print evening — the one this page spent all of yesterday's edition unpacking — got its answer in Thursday's daylight, and the answer was emphatic. IGV closed +7.74%, the biggest software day of the year by this page's own tracking, with CRM +22.58% and CRWD +20.50% both paid again at scale on top of their after-hours gains, and Synopsys — which had only shrugged −1.0% Wednesday night — flipped into a +11.67% regular session. Nvidia added +8.74% to 227.98 in its first daylight session after the print, though ten of eleven sectors closed red and tech alone, XLK +2.34%, carried the index to a second QQQ close above its 50-day.

The Midday 10

Daylight doubles the punishments — Rubrik −11%, IREN −12%, Marvell −9% extend their overnight sells while the old-guard Mag 7 catches the bid.

  • 1 Rubrik: the −7% after-hours sell becomes −10.9% in daylight
  • 2 Marvell: the evening's cleanest beat is sold hardest
  • 3 The paid side holds: Workday flips its shrug, Elastic keeps the payment

Daily Pulse — Rent the Brain or Build It

Wednesday's Claudeforce announcement was not a product launch — it was the first at-scale placement of a strategic bet about where the boundary between AI and enterprise software settles. Salesforce conceded the interface: the surface where work happens now belongs to the model layer, and the moat retreats to what the model layer cannot replicate — data, permissions, workflow, governance. The connection runs over MCP, which means the integration layer between AI and enterprise software just standardized on an open protocol.
